Here are the full results from our Wednesday FFA District Leadership Development Events contest. We took 44 competitors, a record number for our chapter, for this set of contests.
For reference, only the top 3 individuals/teams in each contest qualify for state. The ribbon rankings go Purple, Blue, Red, and White.
Creed Speaking- Reese Tuttle (blue), 26 total speakers
Ag Literacy Speaking- Valerie Spohn (3rd place blue), Ava Svehla (blue), 9 total speakers
Discovery Speaking- Brynnlye Johnson (red), Liam Capek (red), Crosby Oldehoeft (white), 19 speakers
Jr. Public Speaking- Abby Klooz (3rd place Qualified for State), Gracie Vyhnalek (purple), 27 speakers
Sr. Public Speaking- Kmila Benitez (3rd place Qualified for State), 17 speakers
Cooperative Speaking- Abbie Milton (5th place purple), 12 speakers
Natural Resources- Babe Weber (3rd place Qualified for State), 16 speakers
Employment Skills- Keila Ricenbaw (purple and finalist), Mikey Bartu (purple, finalist alternate), Brett Kallhoff (blue), 40 competitors
Ag Demo- Mason Vossler, Ashley Braun, and Zach Vossler (purple and finalists - have to do another round before state), Cohen Harre and Jayden Capek (blue), Brooklyn Oldehoeft, Sydney Engert, Selah Petersen (blue), 21 teams
Conduct of Chapter Meetings- Ty Svehla, MaKenna Burchett, Meredith Paulsen, Miley Ricenbaw, Dane Anderson, Deacon Erdkamp, and Keisyn Kirchhoff, (4th place purple and state alternate), 12 teams
Parliamentary Procedure- Team 1: Will Vyhnalek, Chase Paulsen, Hunter Svehla, Zach Spohn, Reagan Bartley, Ella Archer (5th place purple), Team 2: Aniston Meints, Sophie Weber, Alexis Paulsen, Cheyenne Krupicka, Malorie Lawver, Avery Tuttle (4th place purple and state alternate), 17 teams
They all worked really hard for months to prepare, and we are excited about how well they did.
